What you need to know about peptide regulation and why food-first is the safer starting point.
The FDA has banned 17+ peptides from compounding pharmacies, citing safety risks, impurities, and lack of human approval. WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) prohibits many for doping. Enforcement targets clinics and vendors selling “research chemicals” for human use.
PeptideEats does not sell, distribute, or prescribe peptides. We provide education only. Peptides on our banned/restricted list include: BPC-157, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, TB-500, Epitalon, Melanotan II, and others on the FDA Category 2 compounding list.
Most peptides are poorly absorbed orally (often under 1%). Stomach acid breaks them down. Effective use usually requires injections or specialized delivery.
Even “natural” peptides can provoke antibodies that neutralize the drug or cross-react with your own proteins. Food does not trigger this.
Research-chemical peptides often lack proper manufacturing. Contaminants (endotoxins, wrong sequence) can cause immune reactions or unknown health risks.
Peptides are fragile. Wrong handling destroys potency.
